Add ImmerseMe to Microsoft Teams Course

Follow these steps to add ImmerseMe to your class so students can easily access it from Microsoft Teams.

 


1. Add a new tab to your class channel

Open your class in Microsoft Teams and select the channel where you want students to access ImmerseMe, such as General.

Click the  (Add a tab) button at the top of the channel, then select Apps.

2. Select Website

From the available apps, select Website.

If you don’t see it straight away, use the search bar at the top to search for Website.

3. Add your ImmerseMe login link

Enter these details

  • Tab name: ImmerseMe
  • URL: Edlink Quick Login URL https://ed.link/api/authentication/integrations/
    [EDLINKID]/launch

    Note: The Edlink ID is unique to your integration. Replace [EDLINKID] with your school's unique Edlink integration ID.

Leave Post to the channel about this tab unchecked if you don’t want Teams to automatically create a channel post.

Click Save.

4. Check the ImmerseMe tab

An ImmerseMe tab will now appear at the top of the channel. Select it to check that ImmerseMe loads correctly and that students can access their learning content.

Students can use this tab whenever they need to access ImmerseMe from their Microsoft Teams course.

5. Open ImmerseMe in a browser

If you prefer the full browser experience rather than viewing ImmerseMe inside Teams, select the dropdown next to the ImmerseMe tab and choose Open in browser.

This opens the same ImmerseMe link in your default web browser.
