  Change the default XML from
  <lticm:property name=“default”>enabled</lticm:property> to
  <lticm:property name="default">disabled</lticm:property>

   

  This prevents ImmerseMe from appearing in every Canvas course by default. Teachers can then enable ImmerseMe only in the courses they need by going to Course Settings → Navigation and dragging ImmerseMe into the list of visible navigation items.
