Microphone Test
Make sure the microphone (or input device) you'll be using is selected from the dropdown list. Test by speaking into the device. Your microphone is working if the audio bar moves when you speak. Click Yes, Microphone is working to proceed to the Speaker Test.
Otherwise, click No, I need help to lead you to the article on how to troubleshoot your microphone.
Speaker Test
Ensure that the speaker (or output device) selected in the test widget is the correct one. Click the play button ▶︎, and if you can hear audio playing from your device, then you're speaker is working. Click Yes, Speaker is working to go to the Network Test.
If you're unable to hear any audio, click No, I need help for instructions on how to troubleshoot your device's speaker.
Network Test
To test your network connection, click Start Network Test. If you prefer to skip this, click Skip Network Test.
Once the test is complete, the gauge will show you your internet connection speed. Ideally, it should be in the Ok mark or higher to enable ImmerseMe to run smoothly. Click Yes, Network is OK to proceed to the last test - the Firewall Test.
If you need instructions on how to troubleshoot your device's network, click No, I need help.
Firewall Test
Last but not the least, to check if you can use ImmerseMe with your network, click Start Firewall Test. To skip, click Skip Firewall Test.
The result will say Firewall Success! if there's no issue accessing ImmerseMe with your network. Now you're all set! Click Continue to ImmerseMe! to go back to the Student Zone homepage.
Otherwise, click No, I need help for instructions on how to bypass your network's firewall.
