If you need to configure your speaker settings, please follow the instructions below depending on which type of web browser and device you're using.
Chrome Speaker Fix
Chrome will show a broken speaker icon on the right of the URL if the ImmerseMe website audio is on mute. To solve this, click the broken speaker icon and change to Always allow sound... Press Done and reload the page.
Another way is to click the padlock icon š on the left of the URL, then turn on the Sound.
Or you can right-click on the ImmerseMe tab in the Chrome bar above the URL. If there is an option to Unmute Site, then it means that the ImmerseMe site has been muted. Select this to unmute the site and audio should be playing through your speakers now.
Firefox Speaker Fix
Firefox has a very easy way of noticing if a website is muted - it would show MUTED at the bottom of the website name in the browser tab.
To solve this, simply click the muted speaker icon on the tab, and it will automatically unmute the audio.
Or you can right-click on the tab and select Unmute Tab.
Windows Output Selection
To change the output settings on your Windows device, click the speaker icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen (*If this isn't shown, click the ā icon to display the hidden settings). From here, click the āµ icon beside Select playback device, choose the audio output device you want to use, and ensure the volume is set to an appropriate level.
Another way is to to go to Settings > System > Sound and select your output device from here.
Apple macOS Output Selection
To ensure you have the correct output selected from your device, click the sound icon located in your device's toolbar (top bar on the screen). Select the output device you would like to use and ensure that the volume is at a reasonable level.
Or navigate to System Settings > Sound > Output. Select the output device you would like to use and ensure that the output volume is at a reasonable level..
Apple iOS Output Selection
To ensure that your iOS device is playing audio, make sure that the volume bar in your iPhone's Control Centre is at an appropriate level.
If volume is not the issue, then your iPhone might be playing audio through another device, press down firmly on the Music section in the Control Centre and it will bring up the screen shown below.
From here, click the icon which will bring up the screen shown below, then make sure that the selected device is the output device you want to use.
