Why set a task schedule?
The point of ImmerseMe is to support your students’ language practise and follow your existing course plan. Once you have finalised your syllabus/scope and sequence, then you can set tasks in ImmerseMe to mirror your plan.
How to plan a task schedule?
- Download the Task Planner template.
- Fill in the spreadsheet with the following information:
- Task Title: the name of the task
- Task Description: a message to your students, e.g. the key learning outcome from the task
- Class(es): the class(es) to assign the task to
- ImmerseMe Lessons: the specific lesson titles (you can copy and paste the title or the link to the lesson)
- Learning Modes: specify which modes to assign - Pronunciation, Typing, Spelling, Translation, and/or Immersion for legacy lessons, and Vocab, Grammar, and/or Pronunciation for Sentence Builder lessons
- Start date + time: the date and time for the students to start working on the task
- End date + time: the task due date and time
